Cottonwood Bud Salve

(2 customer reviews)

Price range: $20.00 through $48.00

Cottonwood Bud Salve carries the aroma of the cottonwood trees that line Montana’s rivers. The sap from the cottonwood buds is collected by bees to create propolis, which protects their hives from bacteria, viruses, and fungi. This makes Cottonwood Bud Salve ideal for healing wounds, reducing inflammation, and protecting against infection. The resinous properties of the buds make it an excellent remedy for cracked hands and feet.
A favorite among outdoor enthusiasts and horse lovers, this salve not only repels insects but also soothes bug bites when applied around a horse’s face, ears, and underbelly. It also provides reliable protection for hikers, as it won’t melt off even during strenuous activity in the mountains.
Traditionally, Cottonwood Bud Salve has been used to relieve sore muscles, bruises, and rheumatic or arthritic pain.

Ingredients: Cottonwood Buds infused in Avocado Oil & Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax. Essential Oils: Lavender, Balsam Fir, Cedarwood, Frankincense.

I’ve been working on an art installation that involves wood and cement, and my hands have been taking a beating. This salve was my go-to and it is amazing. My cuts and scrapes healed in no time.
My husband, who works on motors, loves it too.

I love this salve. I suffer from dry skin from working with chemicals all the time. This salve revives and protects my skin. I love the outdoor bud smell. I get tired of sweet smells. I have used this when I am outdoors and it seems to be a great bug repelent. Bonus!!
